Betty Roberts 40th Birthday Blog Hop

Today is Betty Roberts 40th Birthday!!! 
YES the BIG 40
so we thought we would make it as special as we possibly can! 
drew us up an image to use for Betty's Birthday!!
A whole bunch of AMAZING, SUPER TALENTED ladies
have done some UNBELIEVABLE projects for you to see, they have all been mailed out to Betty
so she should get some AMAZING mail...
but we thought you would all like to see these FANTASTIC projects..

Here is my card that I have made for her Birthday. 



The card is 5x7" in size and made from white card from Jelly Bean Crafts. I also cut the pumpkin, numbers and spiderweb out of white card to (which I then coloured in). The backing paper is a freebie from Delicious Darkness (i haven't got the link but I will add it when I find it) The digi is coloured in with Promarkers and i glittered it to. Here is a list of all the colours I have used: Skin- Ivory, Vanilla, Blush, Sunkissed Pink, Saffron    Tongue- Poppy    Skulls- Cool Grey 2, China Blue, Cornflower Blue, Blue Pearl     Eyes- Sky Blue, Cyan      Dress- Cornflower Blue, China Blue, Blue Pearl, Crimson, Berry Red, Poppy     Ribbon-  Cornflower Blue, China Blue, Blue Pearl     Cake-  Cornflower Blue, China Blue, Blue Pearl,  Crimson, Berry Red, Poppy, Black        Candles- Summer Sun, but didn't write down what red or blue :(      Pumpkin - Pumpkin (didn't write down the other colour)    Spiderweb- Black

JIC- Simply Betty Stamps & Whoopsi Daisy - Stitching Real or Faux

Hiya
This months the challenge over at JIC is Stitching Real or Faux and our sponsors are Simply Betty Stamps and Whoopsi Daisy.


I used a pre-coloured image from Whoopsi Daisy - Sheet 515, it is available to buy from their store. I will be sending this card to Valarie's (the other owner of JIC) daughter Katelynn as she is very ill (please see here for more info). 

I used lilac and pink card from Papermill, The patterned and pink paper is from my stash. The file I have used is Daniela Angelova Flowers Card which is available from the Silhouette store. The sentiment is from Lori Whitlock and is called 3 Sketch Sentiments. The corners are die cut and then I added stitching detail with a pink pen. I then finished the card off with 2 fabric flowers from my stash.

Corrine Birthday Blog Hop

Hey Everyone

It is Corrine Jones Birthday and Betty from Simply Betty Stamps designed an image especially for Corrine. We all have made a card and sent it to Betty and shes going to give them to Corrine in 1 big huge box, not only is she doing this but we are also doing a blog hop (list after my card details).
Below is my card for Corrine, I hope that you like it and that you will follow the hop.



The card is 5x7" in size and is made from card from Papermill, the lilac card is also from Papermill. The pink card that the sentiment and 1 of the papers is backed onto is from my stash. The flowery paper is a freebie from a magazine (sorry forgot the name and artist). The patterned one is from Wild Rose Studio. I have the added a paper ribbon, flowers and gems from my stash. The image and sentiment is from Simply Betty, the image is coloured in using promarkers, here is a list of the colours I have used: Cigarette - Ivory
Hair- Honeycomb, Ginger, Spice,     Shorts- Cornflower, Denim Blue, Pastel Blue   Lips- Lipstick Red
Skin- Coral, Sunkissed Pink, Almond, Putty    Top- Pink Lobster, Rose Pink, Cerise

Betty's Birthday Blog Hop


Hey Everyone

 It is the Birthday of the lovely Betty Rogers the talented artist and creator of Simply Betty Stamps. So for her birthday there is lots of us taking part in Betty's Birthday Blog Hop. We were all give an image called Queen of Halloween created by the lovely Tamara from The Stamping Chef, the image is available to buy from her store on 11/11/13 and there is a 20% discount till Wednesday 13th.
