Whats been going on with me lately, well i had yet another fall down the stairs and couldn't sit on my right side. well I'm back to crafting but still in some pain but least i can sit now lol. I made some cards before my fall but didn't get round to taking pictures but I have now, so can show everyone. It was my youngest son Tony's 4th birthday on Sunday, he had a great day :)
My weight loss journey
Well 2 weeks ago i stayed the same weight wise but when i measured myself i have lost cm's :) I lost 2.5cm from my arm, 4.5cm from my waist, 1cm from my hips :) my thighs have stayed the same though. This week I've lost 1lb so now down to 14st 8lbs :) I've been finding it hard to drink the amount of water your meant to, also been snacking lots opps but still keeping to my points :) I had a chinese take away the other day and decided to get a chicken chow mein thinking it was the healthier option, well turned out it wasn't it was 22 points and I only get 34 a day oppsie.
My cards
Made for an order using forever friends decoupage and matching backing paper, also red paper-mill paper and back card,
Made for an order using an Eeyore decoupage, backing paper is a marble multi coloured paper. I also used paper from the nursery boy collection and some white leather effect card. I also used card candi from craftwork cards
This card i made for a swap using a stamped image on white tesco premier paper coloured in using pro markers, it is on top of black card embossed with an embossing folder. The backing paper is some velvet embossed paper I got from poundland. I have also used card candi from craftwork cards.
This card is for the challenge Shades of blue on Emma's Blog I used a blue vellum word block, backed it onto some blue patterned card and also used some to frame the card, The card was gifted to me by a dear friend so I don't know the exact make but I think its Kanban. the main blue paper is all textured and is kind of like cardboard and is from poundland.
Number:143 £2.50
This card was made for a challenge which i was to late in entering. Its made using a topper which i'm afraid i don't know the make of. I used a black snake skin paper, black card, gold mirri card and red textured paper. I also used card candi from craftwork cards.
Number: 144 £2.50
This card i made using a scalloped edge card from craftwork cards. The backing paper is also from craftwork cards. The lovely digi stamp is coloured in using pro markers - if anyone knows who made this image can you please tell me so that i can give them credit :), it's backed onto purple marble effect paper. I have used anitas corner peel offs and gem stick on stones to finish the card off. This card is for my parents wedding anniversary :) I didn't put mum and dad on it as its also from my boys. I would like to enter this card into the CBN #13 challenge

FAB cards Sian, well done on the weight loss, you know what they say... a little of what you fancy never hurts so don`t feel guilty :O) Chris xx
Lovely cards. xx
Sorry to hear about your fall.
You have been very busy with your cards and it's lovely to see a new blog. Can I just ask whether the promarkers 'bleed' on the Tesco paper? I tried some premium printer paper from WHSmith and it was not as good as the cheaper paper...
it does bleed a tiny bit but if ur carefull u can get away with it not bleeding :) i find it good and its cheap aswell. ive got lots of digi images printed onto letraset bleedproof paper and i dont like it at all.
thank you for all you lovely comments i am making sure i am following everyone that leaves a comment etc.
