JIC- 3 Layers or More

Hiya
This week the challenge over at JIC is 3 Layers or more and our sponsors are Crafty Sentiments who is giving a prize of 3 images, Zuri Vice President Jr who is giving a prize of 2 images & Digital Paper Crafts who is also giving a prize.

 

I used the image Baloon from Zuri Vice President Jr, which is available to buy from their store.

I hope that you like my project, I created the cut file on my computer :) Took me a few hours as I still am not used to the software.

 

I used pink,purple lilac card from papermill. The patterned paper is from Kanban and the butterflies are cut with purple pearlscent card from my stash.The pearls and ribbon is from my stash. The flowers and the happy birthday are from the silhouette store. The butterflies are from a Cherry Lynn die. I have used extra ribbon to create the string for the balloon on the image. The image is coloured in with Promarkers, here is a list of the colours I have used.  Skin- Ivory, Saffron, Blush, Vanilla, Sunkissed Pink    Eyes- Arctic Blue, Indigo Blue (with glossy accents on top)   Hair- Raw Sienna, Walnut, Umber     Balloon- Red, Berry Red, Crimson, Ruby     Top & Bow- Pink Carnation, Rose Pink, Pink Lobster    Shoes & Tights- Orchid, Amethyst, Lavender, Pink Carnation, Rose Pink, Pink Lobster

JIC- Stitchy Bear & Aurora Wings- Anything But A Card

Hiya

This week the challenge over at JIC is Anything But A Card and our sponsors are Aurora Wings and  Stitchy Bear Stamps, they are both giving a prize of a $10 gift card.

I used the wonderful image Ballerina Kitty by Aurora Wings and it is available to buy from her store. I decided to make a little decoupage heart box, my 1st ever attempt at one. I think it turned out fine for my 1st ever attempt but not perfect.

The box was a little brown box that was kindly gifted to me by a friend. I used 3 different decoupage papers that I brought from Crafty Crocodiles. I then added Cadbury Purple Satin ribbon to the top and bottom. I used 2 little butterflies cut from lilac pearlscent card with a Cherry Lynn Butterfly die. I then added little heart embellishments from my stash. The image is coloured in with promarkers and here is a list of the colours I have used: Dress- Pale Pink, Antique Pink, Cocktail Pink       Flowers- Orchid, Antique Pink
Butterfly Wings- Orchid, Antique Pink, Cocktail Pink, Pale Pink, Blossom      Eyes- Sky Blue, Azure
Fur- Cool Grey 1-4, Sunkissed Pink       Hue- Powder Blue

JIC- Simply Betty Stamps & Whoopsi Daisy - Stitching Real or Faux

Hiya

This months the challenge over at JIC is Stitching Real or Faux and our sponsors are Simply Betty Stamps and Whoopsi Daisy.

I used a pre-coloured image from Whoopsi Daisy - Sheet 515, it is available to buy from their store. I will be sending this card to Valarie's (the other owner of JIC) daughter Katelynn as she is very ill (please see here for more info). 

I used lilac and pink card from Papermill, The patterned and pink paper is from my stash. The file I have used is Daniela Angelova Flowers Card which is available from the Silhouette store. The sentiment is from Lori Whitlock and is called 3 Sketch Sentiments. The corners are die cut and then I added stitching detail with a pink pen. I then finished the card off with 2 fabric flowers from my stash.

Guest Designer for Barenmix

Hi everyone

I have been asked to be a Guest Designer over at Barne Mix, The sponsor for this challenge is The East Wind and the Theme is Anything Goes.

The image I have used is Aurora Spring Butterfly, which is available to buy from their store. I am sorry about the poor picture but I had to take the photo late at night. I hope you like the card.

The card is made with white, lilac and pink card from Papermill. I then used a yellow paper from the Papermania Capsule Collection. The card blanks is called Butterfly Pop Up Card by Sweet Afton (but I decided not to make the butterflies pop up) and the sentiment is called Birthday Tag Topper Flower by  Alaa' K, I added stickles to the butterflies and the sentiment. The image is coloured in with promarkers and here is a list of the colours I have used-
Skin - Ivory, Saffron, Vanilla, Blush, Sunkissed Pink   Lips-Dusky Rose   Eyes- Oasis, French Navy, Azure
